GUEST BOOK

Judy, Ray, and Michael together with other members of your family, Our sincere condolences go to each of you during this time of "temporary" separation from a dear loved one. The pains we experience during this time are very real but are 'nothing' when compared with the joy we will know when we see him again, in heaven. Our loving Lord has assured us in His word of that blessed hope of being forever with the Charles in that place where there is no more pain, suffering, or separation. For that we give him all praise and thanksgiving. In the mean time we can keep remembering all the good times we've shared on this earth.

- Thurman and Mollie Barrow, DeLand, Fla.

Dear Judy, Ray and Michael, so sorry to hear of Charles passing. Please remember all the good ole times we had at dear ole Memorial. All the hot dogs we fixed for booster club. I'll never forget homecoming when we parents had to go out on the field. The wind was blowing 20 miles per hour and Charles turned to me and said Annette you need to comb your hair. We laughed so hard and of course he told me that every time he saw me. Ray and Michael your father was a wonderful role model, but you know that. Judy, I send my love and prayers dear friend.

- Annette Mitchell and Family, Richmond Hill, ga.

Ray, I'm sorry I did not get to attend the service today for your sweet Father but please know my thoughts & prayers are with you & your family during this difficult time. Your Father was a sweet man & a joy to so many. With deepest sympathy, Cindy

I only worked with Charles for a few years at Amusement Service, but it was long enough to know what kind of person he was. He would do anything that they needed him to do, never complaining, and whenever he had a few moments, he would entertain us ladies in the office with his stories. He was missed when he retired, and I know he will be missed by his family. God bless you all.

- Nancy Crumpton, Savannah, Ga

Judy, Ray and Michael, I am so very sorry for the loss of Charles. We were very close friends at HVJ, both of us in the Band. Words can not express our sadness. I will always remember the good times we had together. He was a good person, father, husband and friend.

- David and Ann West, Savannah, GA

It was my sincere pleasure to have met this man at my brother's wedding. To Christy, Buddy, and the rest of the family that i dont know, my condolences.

- Sean Quigley , Springfield , Ga

My prayers and thoughts are with Charles's family. Charles was my cousin and I loved Charles and Judy. They both were so kind to me and my family during my husband David's illness. Charles always had a story or joke to tell us. Charles tell David I love him. I will miss you and your sweet smile. He told me the day before his surgery that he and Judy were close like David and I were close. Mike and Ray always know your Dad was a good man and loved his family very much. Rest in Peace Charles. Love you. Jennifer Newton Blount and family

- Jennifer Newton Blount, Vidalia, Georgia

OH Charles where do I start You, me, Aubrey were like brothers growing up in Sylvania, Ga. There are so many tales I could talk about and some I can't, but I think I will stick to the one that had the most history. The bucket with the holes in it that has been told by every one in the NEWTON family. Buddy I think you are old enough to have heard about it many times. Charles and Michael I am sure your dad had to have told you about-""Who shot the bucket"" I loved him as a brother and will miss him. Judy you were a match for Charles. Ha. A match made in heaven. I don't know what else to say except all of you that were Charles and Judy's kids/grandkids were very fortunate to have such parents/grandparents. All of you are in my prayers. Charles we will meet again someday. Go with God. Gene A Newton
